Benita C. Gordon is an edupreneur, and owner of Gordon Global Education Concierge, LLC. GGEC coordinates all aspects of and for education nationally and internationally. They focus is on concierge services, coaching, consulting, and training of parents, educators, educational institutions, and community stakeholders to eliminate roadblocks in the world of education. She has an online school for grades K-12 that offers wrap-around care and with a focus on the Arts. The Education Concierge Podcast is a part of the GGEC family and focuses on having a conversation with educators and eduprenuers that disrupt, dismantle, then rebuild and reimagine all layers in education.
Ms. Gordon received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Hampton University. She has been in education for over 23 years. She is a turnaround specialist that has taught in schools from rural to urban up and down the east coast (Florida, Virginia, Maryland, and District of Columbia) and abroad. Ms. Gordon’s passion has allowed her to travel and live abroad to teach and train educators in the areas of English/Language Arts, Social Studies, Humanities, and Writing. She has found her niche and embraced the Middle School/Junior High School culture and continues to focus on how she can improve, expand, expose and connect her students to “real-life” and professional educators to be the best for their students.
Ms. Gordon believes that it is necessary to guide people to find their niche in life. Her motto is “Oh, how can we fix that!”
